 I would like to welcome you to the Techno India NJR Institute of Technology. Your Engineering studies at Techno NJR will provide you advanced skills intermingled with flexibility to help you succeed in a competitive global environment.
This institution has been established to impart the most comprehensive engineering education by combining rigorous theoretical teaching with extensive practical laboratory work in the most advanced laboratories as found only in top engineering institutions.
We care to employ the best minds as faculty with PhD/M. Tech degrees from premier institutions like IITs, BITS, IIITs, NITs, with sensitivity for the betterment of students. To supplement the theoretical knowledge gained in classrooms, students are encouraged to work extensively in the laboratories. To help students work for extended hours, we have gone beyond the norms and established separate City Centre facilities which include Library with Reading room, Computer Lab, Electronics Research Centre and Classrooms which are open till mid night augmented with availability of senior faculty and staff members to supervise and guide the students.
We believe in creating fully employable engineering graduates and have therefore started many industry initiated programs which run along with the University curriculum. Our passing graduates thus enter the professional world with much more than just a B.Tech degree.
Our Institute provides a unique opportunity to its students to get B.Eng. degree from highly reputed Sheffield Hallam University of the UK at an affordable cost through credit transfer agreement with them. Under this scheme the Techno NJR students who have been consistent in their academics with at least 65% marks in aggregate in the first three years become eligible for a seat in the final year of equivalent engineering degree program at Sheffield. This proves to be a stepping stone for an International career, as a degree from Sheffield Hallam offers the opportunity to students to apply for 2-year work permit in the UK after graduation.

Dr. Pankaj Porwal |

| Dr. Pankaj Porwal has done his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Bombay (Mumbai, India) and PhD in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (Mechanical Engineering) from Cornell University (New York, USA). His research interests are in the area of statistical and impact strength of fibrous structures. He has published several research articles in reputed International Journals and has coauthored a chapter in book published by Springer. He has received several prestigious awards including 'Cornell Fellow' and 'Los Alamos Distinguished Student' awards. His past appointments include Research Intern at Los Alamos National Lab (New Mexico, USA), Post Doctoral Associate at Cornell University (New York, USA) and Assistant Professor at IIT Bombay (Mumbai, India). Currently, he is Professor and Principal at Techno India NJR Institute of Technology.
