  • 5 Students of Techno NJR clear SAP Certification
  • Nooruddin Bohra, Rekha Gupta, Vatsana Paroda, Ajay Porwal and Jeseeka Mehta of TINJRIT have cleared tough SAP ABAP Certification exam today. TINJRIT is first SAP uAcademy in Rajasthan where students can do SAP certification alongwith B.Tech degree . These students are now SAP Certified international professional. SAP certification is one of the most powerful certification program in the world for CSE and IT students. This certification is their passport for great jobs in India and abroad. Many Congratulations.

    TINJRIT has implemented a new concept of industry certification alongwith B.Tech degree under which students can do SAP, Oracle, IEEE, CDAC, Rockwell and many other certification which will help them in their placement with good companies.

  • Industry-Academia Collaboration Meet Organized at Techno NJR Campus
  • The keynote speaker, Dr. Arvind Mayaram, Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Govt of India, emphasized the need of skilled engineers to maintain the high GDP growth rate. He said that this can be achieved only if industry and academia work together to impart the hands on knowledge to graduates. He appreciated the efforts of Techno NJR in this direction.  Mr. Arvind Singhal, Patron, Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry pledged his full support for collaboration between industry and academia through Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Mr. Ranjan Dhawan, Executive Director, Bank of Baroda; explained the tie up of Bank of Baroda with Manipal university to offer one year PG diploma in banking at the end of which students are absorbed as Probationary officer in Bank of Baroda. Prof. I.V. Trivedi, emphasized the need of inputs from industry in upgrading the curriculum to make and more relevant for industries and to take concrete steps in the direction of industry academia collaboration through MoUs.

    Mr. R.S. Vyas Director, Techno India NJR welcomed all the guests to the Meet and apprised them of the grim situation of graduates in India as indicated by various surveys conducted by McKinsey, NASSCOM, and MetriTrac. He urged all the speakers to devise a concrete action plan to bridge the gap between skills required by industry and actually possessed by the graduates.Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mr. K.S. Kothari, Past President, Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

  • Industry-Academia collaboration meet to be organised at Techno NJR campus on 25th May, 2013
  • TINJRIT is organising a meet of industrialists and academicians at its campus at 1630 hrs on 25th May, 2013, to discuss ways to create a partnership between industry and educational Institute for the benefit of students.

    This high powered meet will be addressed by Dr. Arvind Mayaram, Secretary- Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India, Mr. Arvind Singhal- leading industrialist of Rajasthan, Mr. Ranjan Dhawane - Executive Director of Bank of Baroda and Prof. I.V.Trivedi- Vice Chancellor of MLSU. Leading Industrialists and academicians of Udaipur would attend the meet.

  • TCS Recruits 9 Students of Techno NJR
  • India’s largest software company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has selected eight students of Techno NJR. Chaynita Sharma, Hemant Sanadhay, Nidhi Kosti, Rekha Gupta, Tarun Nagdev, Mohd. Nadeem Akhtar and Kalpak Patel of Computer Science & Engineering and Poorva Pal & Sakshi Paneri of Electronics and Communications branch have received appointment letters and are likely to join this month.TCS is india’s largest software company with a turnover of US$ 10 billion and employs 264000 people.

  • IIT Bombay  to conduct Workshop on Database Management Systems from 21st to 31st May at TINJRIT
  • IIT Bombay in their initiative of working with Engineering Colleges in the country and to enhance the teaching skills of faculty colleagues in core Engineering and Science Subjects and under this project called “Empowerment of Students & Teachers through Synchronous & Asynchronous Instruction,” IIT Bombay will be conducting two-week ISTE workshop on “Database Management Systems” from  21st May to 31st May, 2013 under National Mission on Education through ICT, supported by MHRD at Techno India NJR Institute of Technology, Udaipur.

    Course Content
    - Overview of data management systems. Relational model and query languages (relational algebra and calculus, SQL). Database design using the ER Model, ER Diagrams, UML Class Diagrams. Relational database design and normalization. Integrity and Security. Design and development of Web based information systems.
    - Overview of storage structures, indexing. query processing and optimization, and transaction processing.
    - A brief introduction to decision support and data analysis, data warehousing and data mining and Information Retrieval.
    - Querying Big Data using Hadoop.

    Course Fee
    Since the workshop is funded by the National Mission on Education through ICT (MHRD, Government of India), there is NO course fee for participation.

  • Electronic System Design and Manufacturing(ESDM) Workshop
  • One day Workshop on 'Electronic System Design and Manufacturing(ESDM) was organized by Techno India NJR Institute of Technology Udaipur, CSI student branch on 18 April 2013, in association with  Computer Society of India(CSI) and with technical sponsorship from Department of Electronics and Information Technology ( DeitY), Govt. of India. Chief Guest Shri Arun Sachdeva, Sr. Director & OSD to Secretary in the Department of Electronics & Information Technology  gave a talk on present government schemes and the future scope in the field of Electronics in India.
     
    Guest of Honour Dr. Rajveer Shekhawat, General Manager (New product)  at Secure Meters and Regional Student Coordinator CSI gave a brief introduction on the importance of Electronics in the market.   Invited speakers at the workshop included Mr. Gaurang Shah, GM Head of Quality, Secure Meters who guided the students on “Quality of Products in Industry” and Mr. Harish Patel, Asst. Manager (NPD-HW) at Secure Meters who spoke over “Power Supply Design and Manufacturing” This was  followed by session on “Career Avenues: for Engineers” by Mr. Madan Sharma, Dy.Manager HR at  Ambuja Cement and a motivational session by Ms. Ekta Mahul, Head of “eiTRA- lnfochips Training and Research Academy, who shared her views on “What makes Bangalore a Silicon Valley of India”

  • EEE Students completed one week Training at upcoming GSS at Deogarh
  • Nine students (Ankit Choubisa, Dharmendra Menaria, Mohit Gehlot, Dainik Jain, Sanjay Vaishnav, Chirag Mishra, Devendra Rao, Ankit Sagotia, Nilesh Paliwal) of Electrical and Electronics Engineering completed one week long training (March 07, 2013 to March 14, 2013) at upcoming 132KV Grid Sub Station (GSS) at Deogarh.  Students took part in detailed study, testing, and installation of various transformers, circuit breakers, and lightening arresters.

  • National Workshop on Fundamentals of PSCAD and General Applications &  DSATools Applications  organized at TINJRIT from 12-14th April ,2013
  •  National Workshop on Fundamentals of PSCAD and General Applications &  DSATools Applications was organized successfully at Techno India NJR  campus from 12-14 April, 2013. The workshop was attended by 43 practicing engineers from industry and students.

  • International Software  Summit  organized  at TINJRIT from 11-12 April, 2013
  • Techno India NJR Institute of Technology in association with IEEE Computer Society India Council, The Institution of Engineers(IEI) ULC under Technical Co-sponsorship of Computer Society Chapter IEEE Delhi Section successfully organized a 2-day International Software Summit on 11th & 12th April 2013.  The Program was inaugurated by Prof. Sigurd Meldal, Professor and Chair, Computer Engineering Department ,College of Engineering, San Jose State University ,Co-Director NSF STC TRUST (UC Berkele) who delivered keynote speech on “ Security risk management & the science of security”. Session 2 was by Gaurav Mantri , Founder Cerebrata & Head of Technology at Cynapta over “Getting started in Software Industry”  followed by speech of Nilesh Trivedi, GupShup.me, over “Why Programming is fun and why we should keep it that way”. Session 3 was by  Jacob P.U., Head-HR, Hexaware Technologies over “Innovative HR practices in Software Industry” followed by session on “Success beyond Schools in Uncertain time” by Narendra Sharma, Ex-VP, Hexaware Technologies. 

    Day 2 started with speech of Pankaj Sahay, Principal Consultant-Education and Research, Infosys on “Software Standardization” and Mohit Phogat ,Manager - Education , Oracle on “Unlocking the U in the University” in which he addressed issues related to awareness of common people with latest technologies. Yatheendranath Tarikere spoke on “mastering uncertainty in software engineering education & role of IEEE in Software Industry and Stefano Zanero, Assistant Professor, Politecnico di Milano, Italy talked on security of cyber-physical and maliciouscode analysis.
    The chief guest for Valedictory session was Dr. N. S. Rathore, Dean, CTAE and Guest of Honour was Mr. Ajay Kapur, Director, Oracle India. Vote of thanks was by Piyush Javeria, Chair, Organising Committee, International Software Summit 2013.

  • International Workshop on Innovative Manufacturing Practices in Automotive and Tyre Industry Organized at Techno NJR
  • International Workshop on Innovative Manufacturing Practices in Automotive & Tyre Manufacturing  was organized at Techno India NJR Institute of Technology  on 5-6 July 2013, in association with Hari Shankar Singhnia Elastomer and Tyre Research Institute (J K Tyre Kankroli) and Indian Rubber Institute and with technical sponsorship of Institution of Engineers (India) and Indian Institute of Industrial Engineering. Chief Gust Dr. R. Mukhopadhyay, Director Hari Shankar Singhania Elastomer and Tyre Research Institute (J K Tyre Kankroli) gave a talk on challenges and opportunities in tyre industry. He discussed about employment opportunities in various industries and encouraged students to strive to acquire skills and knowledge. He also emphasized that in Tyre industries there are only 5000 graduating engineers with required skill-set against 50000 vacancies every year. Guest of Honour Dr. V. Muralidharan (Goodyear Tire, USA) gave a lecture on global trends in tire technology and discussed various innovative tyre products to be launched by Goodyear, USA.  He also mentioned the increasing competitiveness of India in global market. Other invited speakers at the workshop included Mr. R.L. Tayalia, Chairman IIIE; Dr. Samar Bandyopadhayay of JK Tyre; Mr. Bhargav Mistry of Secure Meters, Dr. Murari Gupta of JECRC. All the invited speakers visited Hari Shankar Singhnia Elastomer and Tyre Research Institute (J K Tyre Kankroli). The workshop was chaired by Dr. Pankaj Porwal, Principal Techno NJR and Mr. RS Vyas, Director, Techno NJR gave vote of thanks.
