Twinning Program with Sheffield Hallam University - UK

A Great Opportunity for Techno NJR Students

Techno NJR has signed an MOU with Sheffield Hallam University for faculty and student exchange and progression opportunities for students of engineering branches. Under the progression agreement, the students of Techno NJR who are able to maintain a consistently good academic performance for the first three years under RTU syllabus can opt to avail an opportunity to get admission in the final year of corresponding B.Eng. programme of SHU on selection basis. The subject credits earned by the students up till 3rd year of their study under RTU syllabus get transferred to SHU for credit to their B.Eng. programme on equivalence basis. This proves to be a stepping stone for an International career and the engineering and computing courses offered by SHU are professionally accredited having relevance to industry.

Techno NJR grooms all its students to make them internationally acceptable in industry, education, research and/or self-employment irrespective of the fact whether they migrate to the UK for B.Eng. degree from SHU or stay back to complete their B.Tech degree from RTU. All the students get exposed to the international teaching-learning methods by attending classes of the teachers who have either earned their UG/PG/PhD degrees from foreign universities or taught in foreign universities. Techno NJR is also exploring feasibility with SHU so that students can visit SHU, UK for their summer training/project-work after 2nd or 3rd year.
