The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) Cell of Techno NJR Institute of Technology successfully organized a two-day Design Thinking & Storyboarding Session with Figma on 13th–14th August 2025.

The session was conducted by Dr. Aaditya Maheshwari, Head – Incubation and Innovation and IBM Enterprise Design Thinking Co-Creator. With his vast experience and expertise, Dr. Maheshwari introduced students to the principles of design thinking, encouraging them to approach problems with creativity, empathy, and structured innovation.

Throughout the workshop, students actively engaged in storyboarding exercises, learning how to visualize user experiences and translate ideas into impactful designs. The integration of Figma, a leading collaborative design tool, provided participants with hands-on exposure to industry-standard practices.

The event received an overwhelming response, with students showcasing high levels of enthusiasm and curiosity. The interactive format allowed participants to brainstorm, collaborate, and come up with innovative solutions in real time.
