To provide students with direct exposure to industry-grade testing and sustainable construction materials, the Department of Civil Engineering at Techno NJR Institute of Technology conducted a comprehensive 3-Day Workshop on “M40 Grade OPC and Geopolymer Concrete Mix Design” in collaboration with UltraTech Pvt. Ltd.
Held from September 3 to September 5, 2026, the workshop bridged textbook civil engineering theories with active plant and site procedures, giving students a complete view of high-strength and eco-friendly concrete technologies.
Mastering High-Performance and Sustainable Concrete
The construction sector is rapidly moving toward eco-conscious alternatives to traditional binders. By focusing on both standard M40 Grade Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) and Geopolymer Concrete, the workshop provided a balanced view of conventional structural concrete alongside low-carbon, sustainable solutions.
