The Department of Civil Engineering at Techno NIR Institute of Technology organized a Hands-on Training Programme on Soil Testing and Material Testing at Mangalam Consultancy Service on 20th June 2026.

The practical session provided students with first-hand exposure to professional laboratory equipment, testing standards, and engineering practices used in the construction industry.

Students actively participated in various testing procedures, including:

• Cement quality analysis
• Material strength evaluation
• Laboratory testing procedures

The training helped students strengthen their practical understanding of civil engineering concepts while enhancing their technical competencies.
